・08:00 Pick up from your hotel in Cusco ・08:30, we will stop at Oropesa, the famous souvenir of the town of Cusco, the "Corta bread", and enjoy delicious freshly baked bread made in a large stone oven. ・09:00: Visit the Inca ruins of Tipón, located 25 kilometers southeast of the city of Cusco. It is one of the finest Andenes (agricultural terraces), fed by springs from the high peaks of Apu Pacatusan, and is believed to have been a royal garden commissioned by Emperor Wiracocha. There is also an archaeological complex of temples, irrigation canals and aqueducts. ・10:00 am, then transfer to the ruins of Piquillacta (meaning "flea village" in Quechua) near Lake Huacalpai. The adobe complex was built by the Huari (pre-Incan) culture between 700 and 900 AD and served as a checkpoint, with the Incan ruins known as Rumikolca just a few meters away. Ruinas de Ankasmarka

Ubicadas a 23 kilómetros de la provincia de Calca en Cusco, las ruinas de Angkasmarca se encuentran a una altitud de 3850 metros sobre el nivel del mar.

Ancasmarca, que significa «Ciudad de las Águilas» en quechua, fue cuna de importantes habitantes de las épocas Preincaica e Inca. La ciudad está construida en una ubicación estratégica en el valle y los Andes, con senderos, almacenes de alimentos, antiguos caminos incas y mucha infraestructura agrícola.

Los recintos de Angkasmarca recuerdan a estructuras funerarias (mausoleos), pero también se dice que fueron construidos para el almacenamiento de productos de patata, ya que están situados en un lugar favorable, donde siempre hay una suave brisa y tienen una estructura circular.

 

Ruinas de Unu Urco

Las ruinas de Unu Urco se encuentran cerca de la ciudad de Calca en el Valle Sagrado de los Incas, a una altitud de 2.930 metros sobre el nivel del mar. Se pueden ver hermosas ruinas desde la carretera que conecta Urubamba y Kalka. La terraza ha sido completamente reconstruida con bordillos y hoy sus grandes andenes (terrazas agrícolas) siguen utilizándose para el cultivo de maíz. Los incas realizaron importantes trabajos para llevar agua a sus cultivos a través de canales desde el lago Pawarai en los cerros de Cancán.

El 1 de octubre de cada año se realiza la «Fiesta del Agua Unu Urco», y se representa la leyenda del Inca Urco. Es un complejo arqueológico con hermosos Andenes (terrazas agrícolas), puestos de control y huacas (rocas sagradas) talladas con canales de agua, propiedad de Urco, el hijo mayor del VIII Emperador Huiracocha. La Huaca de Unu Urco, conocida por los agricultores de la zona como la “Nyusta Encantada” (Princesa), está formada por rocas gigantes de hasta 6 metros de altura, con forma de sapos y con forma de piedras talladas. La cabeza mira hacia el este, y en el otro lado de la cabeza hay un cuerpo de serpiente acanalado por el que se desliza el agua y desemboca en una fuente bien tallada que imita la cabeza de una serpiente con grandes ojos redondos, y el agua probablemente fue recogida en una bañera. eso hoy no existe.
